Why do I need a German GTS number to run my monthly payroll in Germany?
The hazard tariff ensures a fair distribution of the burdens according to hazard risks. For this purpose, companies with a similar risk are grouped into hazard communities and assigned tariff positions.
The hazard class expresses the risk for all companies in the relevant tariff. It determines the amount of your contribution.
The assignment to a risk community depends on the type and purpose of your company. With the assessment notice, you will find out which risk community your company has been assigned to and the resulting risk class.
When you enter the PIN, Consultinghouse automatically creates a
Master data query sent. The hazard tariffs are called up electronically and assigned to employees retrospectively.
